Well maybe one you get to 500 and stop staring at the tach you can run some decent times.
Car does look good though.

Once you learn your car, you will be able to go by the sound and feel. Get a simple little raptor shift light, works wonders, and is more than enough where you never have to take your eyes off the street/track.

You know I don't actually stare at the tach without looking ahead! That would be ridiculous! Of course I look ahead! You can't go by sound in 3rd gear! That's where all the money is! Because it sets you up for 4th gear, which is the traps gear! If you shift too soon, you won't get all that its worth! 14.3et is not bad, for a stock Ecoboost! I'm bone stock!
Power usually falls off very hard on a stock turbo car over like 5500 - 6000. You'd probably honestly be faster shifting between 5500 and 6000 and riding the torque. That's your 13 second pass right there.
Divide each current gear ratio by the preceding gear ratio and multiply by the RPM you shift at to see where the RPM will fall back. Take that data and compare to your dyno graph.
2nd into 3rd at 6000 rpms is (1.66 / 2.53) * 6000 = 4264 rpm, so if you shift from 2nd to 3rd at 6000 you will be at 4264 when you start 3rd.
Find the spot that optimizes your time in the power band.
The 4.10s are quick as hell, BUT your Top Speed will come down A Lot. That's the only part about them that sucks. Not sure how Turbo or Super Chargers offset that, but because of the Gearing those numbers come way down. I've been trying to get some answers if some answers but no one has been able to verbally give the answer. It's as if no one understands the question. Mine's a AUTO. O'yeah, your HWY gas mileage will suck big time, city mileage not bad at all, maybe even better.
Just my Stang GT. I don't Race at all. S197, I've done a few minor things to it, minus Turbo, Charger or Nitrous. But I'm a Retired Military Family Man.
What really cracked the Hell out of me, was when I found out they have 4.56 Gears. I was like WTH? 4.10s 1st and 2nd are short as hell, almost non-existent. 4.56 must be Insane.
LOL! 4.56 gearing is for the 1/8th mile racers! I dont like racing only an 1/8th of a mile! Too short! But the cars that are into it are extremely fast for an 1/8th of a mile!
WOW, did not know that. Good info thanks. 4.10s are not bad for Daily driving, matter of fact, very good on City driving, but not good on Highway. Because of the RPMs I believe.
Your not the only one into 4.10's! The is a guy named Rampant Racing on the MustangCollective.com, that also runs 4.10's! He runs a deep 12.xxET at 110mph! He has a S197 V6 4.0 with a Vortech V3 centrifugal supercharger, with a 16psi pulley! He's got some many mods on his car its insane! You should go over there and make friends with him! He's is really cool and down to earth!
I got my camera setup off of the drivers side window, so you can see my gauges while I'm driving! Take a look! So the plan is too make a video of me getting to 20psi in 3rd gear then again in a shift to 4th! I'll work on that this weekend!
Hey guys! The pyrometer is working! I don't have it fully installed, just partially! Its touching the turbine housing for now! I gave to go to a muffler show and get the bushing installed into the downpipe! I'll see hitter temps when that's done! For now I see online 150F to 250F touching the turbine! You can see its at 150F with engine off!!
