I'm going to be at least a 50% disabled vet when I get out (knees, ears, hand issues among a few other things). I get it too.
Heck, in the military we get briefed all the time and there are even commercials on AFN mentioning exactly what I did. If you are moving, KNOW your state's laws, what consequences or benefits there are to changing residency and make a priority list. That was all I was saying. If one doesn't like a state's laws THAT much then don't move there or move away. If there is something federally mandated that one disagrees with THAT much then try another country. I've been all over the world, there are VERY few places I would even consider living in just a "what if" scenario besides the USA.
As far as adding more HP, even in California
you can have a car making massive power. Ensure you follow the CARB laws there if you live there or at least make sure to be in compliance visually if you are pulled over and 100% for inspection. Although apparently there are stations in some counties that are a lot easier than others. Same goes for NYC.
