won't start after refueling

I have a 2005 V6 Coupe and every time I refuel it has a hard time restarting. I have changed the evap canister solenoid, dust collector and the purge valve.

When is the last time you've changed your fuel filter?

Yup, and some good quality fuel cleaner can work wonders. I use the one Royal Purple makes and it has always help me cars run smooth. Even my old 3000GT which had almost 200k miles.

Changed that about a month ago, but it does seem like it's not getting enough fuel pressure to the engine.

Check fuel tank vent. Make sure its not kinked or melted from exhaust being too close. Happened to another guy on here.

Check your gas cap it may not be sealing correctly until you try to start it and the pressure makes it seal

What is funny about this year old thread is that my car shut off on its own today.

It was 101° and the only open gas pump was in the open sun. I had my girls with me so I left the car running. A black top and a black interior is not kid friendly so leaving the A/C on was important.

The car was nowhere close to running out of fuel, but I prefer to keep the tank as full as possible. I see a half tank as an empty tank. I do this for a lot of reasons.

Back on topic:
As soon as I twisted the cap the car shut off. I thought one of the girls turned the key off (assuming I forgot to do so).

I have never had any vehicle shut down due to opening the fuel cap. I have no idea why it happened. I don't even know what to look for.
