converting to power seat

I have a 2014 mustang gt, the passenger seat is too low for my wife to sit at a normal height, can the track assembly be converted so it adjust like the drivers side, is power seat an option to consider? Thanks

I have the same situation with my wife & my 14 v6 premium. I'm looking for a powered passenger seat. Figure I can change the base & use my seat back & bottom. Eventually one will show up in a junk yard.

I remember reading that it's not as simple as it seems. I think the wiring harnesses are different for cars with manual vs. power seats.

That could be. Driver's seat has power all the time. If need be could just wire pax seat to hot all time fuse.
Locally there are a 12 GT & a 11 V6 being parted out. Will find out soon if either has a powered pax seat.

To avoid any delay in installation, you could remove the seat and inspect for the additional wiring that would be needed for the power seat. This way you'd know if you need the additional plug and/or wiring on the existing plug that could be removed from the donor vehicle. You could save a trip or two and get it all in one shot.

Concur 100% Bucko,
That used to be 1/2 the fun of going to the "u-pick-it" salvage yards for me. When my three kids were all at home & I had five vehicles to maintain, semi-monthly trips for used parts was inevitable.
No telling what you could find. One trip netted a genuine factory installed in the dash (and it worked for $10.00) CB for my 1979 Dodge Aspen Wagon . Opps guess that's a subject for a different forum.

You could pull the seat out and use spacers underneath it when bolting it back in.

Found FORD OEM powered (without heat) passenger seat wiring harness for 2013-2014 Mustang on Amazon. Shows FORD part # DR3Z-14A698-BA.

Could uses spacers on rear bolts, but will have to fabricate small extension on front brackets. They bolt in horizontal.
