I am looking to take the side stripes off of my rocker panels. Is their any type of adhesive remover that will help without taking the paint off. Any suggestions would be helpfull.

From my experience with vinyl go slow and apply heat. You can use a hair dryer.

A steamer works wonders over a hairdryer, while I had someone doing my rear window tint I asked about removing my stripe and he said he had a steamer and if I wanted to I could do it for free while he did the tint, and boy did the stripe peel right off with that baby. Factory stripe baked on from 4years in the Florida Sun and it just came right off.

THANKS! I will try the heat I don't have access to a steamer but if the blow dryer or the heat gun doesn't work I'll see if i can find one.

Be careful if you us a heat gun, they get HOT, can hurt your paint if not paying attention.

Mine came off easy just peel them off slow and use goo gone for any left over glue let the car sit out in the sun before you do it.

^^^that (depending on how old/long they've been on. Try picking an edge with your thumb nail and when (if) it lifts pull slowly along the length at a 90 or so deg angle to the body. I removed mine (3 months old) in 5 minutes and it looks so much better. I didn't need anything after removing them

Welcome to Mevo lets see some pics!

I used a heat gun and then took a mr clean magic eraser and got the rest of the adhesive off with it. Looks much cleaner without them on!

If there's any residue left on the paint, 3M adhesive remover works great.
