wideband install

has anyone installed an air/fuel ratio gauge? is there a way to tap into your factory o2 sensors without welding in a new bung and needing another o2 sensor? I saw an adapter that plugs inline with the factory ones and gives a signal wire but just checking if this actually works. thanks, dan

Most wideband gauge setups will come with a bung and an oxygen sensors. I've never heard of tapping in to a factory sensor and frankly I would prefer that to avoid that as much as possible. Drilling a hole and having a shop weld in a bung is not hard to do.
