polishing throttle body

So after looking up porting I'm not comfortable with it because your basically taking away from structural integrity so thats out but what about polishing I can see the pre mace behind that even if it is minor but

would polishing the throttle body for smoother airflow also contribute to build up? IE thing sticking to the polish over time? just curious mine is completely stock right now so looking at the minor stuff before i get to other mods
