Sounds to me like Ford may have put some weak/old batteries in the FOB when it left the factory. Replace the battery in it, and you should be good to go....if not, you need to make an appointment with your dealer and have the keyless system fully checked under warranty. Those FOB’s are expensive little buggers to replace out-of-pocket.

There is a gas station near me that this happens at. Nothing at all wrong with the fob, new batteries, had my entire system checked, and only happens there. It is something in that building that does it and it seems to block the fob on my mother in law's vette too. I just don't go there anymore.

FYI, if that happens, pull the rubber bottom out of the cupholder and put the fob in the slot and the car should start.

Thanks for the positive answer the business signal is killing my frequency I don't like it. I'm going to let the dealer check my systems and log it in for future reference.
