Nope....my change of address and change of voter registration lost track of each other. My addy changed properly, but, my voter registration is still for NY. So, not gonna do it. Granted, NY could use my Bush vote more so than Louisiana will.

so... then the exceptions must be "underage, dead, a felon, or if you're uneducated."

[rant]
thats the thing i hate most about these elections. one thing i hate almost as much as people preaching religions to me that i dont care about, are people who continute to tell me that i have to vote, even though i tell them IM NOT EDUCATED IN THE ELECTION. AN UNEDUCATED VOTE IS NOT A GOOD VOTE.

[/rant]
<sigh>

i voted like 2 weeks ago, and if you dont vote, what the hells wrong with you???? i mean thats one of the founding idea behind democracy. so if you dont vote your not only hurting yourself, your hurting country. and would you really want that? if you do please leave your real name and address so me and about half this board can come knock some sense in to you.

you have no excuse. You obviously have the internet. You probably have a television, at least a radio in that gt.

You should have gotten educated. Period.

should have, yes. did i care much? no. right now, its kinda like... most people vote for the person they hate the least. im not going to succumb to that. until there is someone who atleast 80% impresses me, im going to obstain. which, wont happen anytime soon, so why even get involved?

and for the record, i dont watch TV, and i dont normally listen to the radio either, so those two elements on media are gone.

maybe my views will change in the next 4 years, and ill actually like being involved in the political drama, but for now... no thanks. its nothing but back-and-forth crap-talking... im just not much interested.

oh well. this is my last post in this thread. thanks.

But aren't you affraid that Puffy is going to come after you? I know I am hunkering down in case he comes to enforce his Vote or Die policy.

I kind of agree with you as far as not liking anyone in the campaign. Yes, it is your duty to vote, but if you disagree with both, I think it is also your right to choose not to vote. I'm not voting thanks to a registration screw up since i move from NY to BR. Yes, I would have voted otherwise...but I do also agree with your stance as well. That is part of being an american...the right to choose what to do on your own. :beer:
