Any lawyers out there?!?!?! I need your help!!!

I bought my Mustang in January from a guy that fixes up old Mustangs in his spare time. He told me he had to redo the brakes on my car b/c the car had been sitting in his yard for 2-3 years.

Last Sunday night, I got in wreck b/c my wheels locked up when I hit the brakes and I lost control of the car. The wreck was considered my fault, so I have to pay for damages to the other car involved. This morning, I brought my car to a shop to have them check out my brakes and see why they locked up. They told me that my brakes had been put on wrong and were twisting around whenever I hit the brakes (this also explains why my rims come loose sometimes).

Is there anyway I can sue this guy or make him pay for the repairs to my brakes, my car from the wreck, and the other car in the wreck?

Call a lawyer. If you can prove that it was a mechanical fault they may atually have to bite the bullet and pay for damages. But call a lawyer who specializes in automotive cases.

Yea, call a lawyer, thats a bad situation. How long have you been driving on it after that guy fixed the brakes? If it was too long it may not work out.

I'll still try, but how come idiots can sue for stupid stuff (i.e. going to get a drink from the fridge in your Winnabego when its on cruise control or spilling coffee in your lap) and win millions and people like me can sue for being put in real danger and get called on some little technicality?
