I'm in one of the red spots in the south. Didn't vote for Bush, though. I was one of the 379,000 that voted Libertarian.

Yep, cuz in heavily populated areas you have a higher concentration of people looking for government handouts. The rest of us would rather fend for ourselves.

look at all the Kerry supporters in Cali, yeah my county was one of them I think.

Oh on a side note this guy at work is quitting because 1. School is a big thing for him and he can't work and 2. The manager wrote him up for wearing a sign that said "Bush Sucks" on his back as he worked.

he said "Oh it's just a joke!" But we all knew he wasn't joking and the manager said, "Well I am a Bush supporter and I know people who come in here who are also Bush supporters would feel offended and we would lose their business. So shut up!"

lol

Wow if you look closely at California you can see west of the San Andreas fault it is blue and east of the fault is Red.

Is there anyway we can go ahead and trigger the big one and let everything west of the fault just slide into the ocean!!!!!

MUHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA

They only get a color when 100% of the ballots are counted. Including the provisional and absentee

The black belt has NOTHING to do with the color of the people!!!!

Sorry but you are only part right. I lived in lower Alabama L.A. and it has dual meaning. That is rich black soil and mostly Black farmers. It is also great hunting area and the population of blacks to whites is 70% Black and 30% white.

So nick you have now been schooled BY BROTHER COREY

Dude it is not a modern day Damn Spanish it was a Historical Damn Spanish

At the time of the Louisiana purchase ( The French sold all lands it was holding to the US government) but at that moment in time the Panhandle was in control of the Spanish and therefore was not part of the sale. Actually at the time of the sale Spanish were in control of Mobile Alabama but the US kicked them out.
