How much would you pay for this truck?

My friend is about to sell his truck and is thinking 3500 for this truck. What do you guys think? The interior is finished now, all blue suede and fiberglass. The engine is the stock 4.3 fuel injected with 280,000 miles I believe. The KBB is around 3000 and with the paint job and interior he should be able to get a little more in a personal sell.

personally, i think its kind of tacky. I love minitrucks, but I think they look a whole lot better smooth and sharp with colors that blend together, not contrast each other, but i guess he could get atleast 3500 from a high school kid lookin for a ride.

Yeah, fast is right.. a little tacky.. It need some chrome 18's and to be slammed to look right. I would pay 4,000. if I was planning on buying it. I would take all the yellow back out of the inside though.

Ha, he got the rims for free...I had them laying around in my back yard, I may ask for them back lol. He's a rim dealer, so he may throw something else on there.

I tinted the windows, 20% all the way around with a 2.5% eyebrow. And as far as slammed goes...he has a 3/4 drop sitting in the shop, we're just too lazy to put it on

IMO.... Extra's give the seller justification to ask KBB.

That one is not worth 1cent more than KBB - it's very tacky.

Ha, but to a 15 year old guy looking for a cool car...it's exactly the ticket. And the right price for a parent.

Haha, him and his dad used that truck as a bonding type of thing. Learned how to do body work and get to know each other better.

LoL, 3/4 inch drop isn't crap on a truck.. I'm talking about a 4" front and a 6" in the rear. Thats a nice drop for that truck.

I like it but just some suggestions considering 18 of the 22 members in our club are mini trucks lol... It needs bagged bad with a body drop, keep the colors, they go well together and catch the eye, chrome 20s, shave everything, billet grill, I love the interior, keep that.... overall I think its a fair price... its a kool truck and the right person could make it even better if they know what they are doing.

Thats what I was going to say.. about getting airbags and 20's but alot of people can't afford that setup.

Bagging does nothing to increase the resell of the vehicle. He'll drop 2-3k in a bag system and add at most $500 to the price. My friend just bought a Nissan XE Hardbody bagged, body dropped, custom paint, that was as nice, if not nicer, than that one for $2200.

Not to mention a lot of people don't want bags. They're expensive to fill. Cops hate you. You can't go over like... 55mph. And they're dangerous. What happens if you bag your truck and sell it and then one of them blows or deflates and causes an accident? I'm willing to bet you'd face a pretty good lawsuit. Especially if you installed it yourself.

I like the truck. I'd pay $3500... If the owner had the engine taken out so I could just drop in one without 280,000 miles.

I wasnt suggesting he put the money into bags and 20s for resale value... I was mearly giving ideas on what I think would make that truck kick ***.

Also, your right, not everyone wants bags or can afford them but for those who do and can its a nice investment if its not your daily driver. Cops only hate you if you ard dumb with them, my friends have no trouble going over 55 mph, and if you sell the truck as is with bags, the buyer takes that risk if he or she knows its bagged prior to the purchase. You are not liable for the truck or what happens to it after an as is sale. If that were the case alot of finance lots would be in serious trouble.

If someone wanted that truck and wanted to make it kool, my suggestions would help head it in that direction.
