Oh here's a hint for you guys, I just figured it out because I didn't care for it before but..

You know those other racers driving around that you can challenge? Beat enough of them and you unlock unique parts. I think you have to beat 4 for 1 unique part, but that's all I've done so far. They are performance parts too, the first one you get to choose Nitrous, Weight Reduce, and Suspension. I picked Weight because my mustang seems a bit heavy, and when I got it I noticed a difference

The last one showing the best time I can get on the mustang, it was hard to get the perfect shifting down on it.. but it was worth it

I don't have the mustang yet...

I do have an eclipse though.

I actually haven't got anything other than the 240sx I started the game with, I'm saving all my money for when I get that elusive 05....

good stuff, the sponsors will just give you any car though so I waited till the 05 came up, bought that and with the money I had turned it into a monster.

And EclipseGSTDude, I was talkin about you in that post too

Haha, I knew that was aimed at eclipse.

All I have spent money on is my 240. It is ugly as hell, but everybody else seems to like it....

ive got a 240, escalade, supra, and mustang... havnt done **** with the escalade or supra, but the 240 and mustang are both freakin sweet. Right now my 240 just owns in street X and circuit.. i usually use the stang for drag, sprint, and drift... then the 240 again for the URL races

If you want the best drifting car, it's gotta be the STi in my opinion. The Evo VIII is alright, but I can handle the drifting a lot better with the STi.

But yes, the 240 was the best car to go with at the begining, all the stats seemed to be the best and at the end my 240 has a wide body kit all carbon fiber, and it's the most riced out thing on the planet :p

lol seph i figured that was. its cool, cause they put a GSX in the game for a reason, so i can do AWD launches and leave you in the dust, and by the time you start to catch up the race is over.

thats one thing they got right, after about 110ish, the gsx loses all power, due to the awd drivetrain loss ald drag. so whereas my lightly modded civic loves to get to 150, the gsx takes a while to get there. gotta love drag, makes it almost too easy with awd launches.

we have the exact same garage then, except I don't have the stang yet. Sponsor cars... gotta love it.

ive got a mustang miata and audi tt

the miata is used mainly for urls and street x cuz it handles so freakin nicely (only has stage 2 stuff on atm)

mustang is for everything but street x but mainly drag/drift

TT for whatever mainly for circuit and sprint

one of the url races when it was at the road course looking stages i lapped 2 of the 6 drivers with it as far as customization, tt looks like a porsche mustang looks like a 05 cobra r kinda, miata just looks like...well a miata with a body kit all black w/ red accents.

ill post pics of the audi when i get my internet fixed, something is using the winsock stuff for something and i cant get a connection found a fix on microsoft website today at work so when i get home hopefully i can fix it.

i use my GSX for everything now. its gonna be hard to pry me away from it to even try out the stang. i painted the gsx my eclipses color, added the black projectors in front, and the same exhaust tip. its like im driving the modded version of my car in the game, too bad it wasnt drop top.
