What to do with old gas????

I have around 10 gallons of gas in the tank of my 64 thats been sitting there for 6-7 months. I am sure the gas is bad and that it needs to be drained out unless I want more problems in my engine swap. How can I get rid of it? My dad wants to keep it and use it for the lawn mower but we dont have a big enough gas can to hold it all. any ideas?

call your local waist company, and have them take it away, like we have a program called IDEM (Indiana Department of Environmental Management.) they have a program in the Countys here that u can drop off old paint, gas oil.....

Dude there is some stuff to add to fuel called fuel stabilizer and then add 1/2 a gallon of Toluene to add the octane to it.

why not put in a bottle of that "winterizing gas stabilizer" that youre supposed to put in when you store a boat/car for the winter months? that stuff breaks down water molecules so the gas still stays fresh and whatnot. or just dump the gas into a barrel and sell it to some 3rd world country.

I agree with the fire ... then again, I'm a pyro. My friend wanted to make a robot that shot liquid.... which I took and made into a robot shooting gas... through a lit candle, which made a crude flame thrower, which we burnt his trash pile with... along with half his lawn. Good times.... good times.... gas can be safe, you just have to know how to use it to your advantage. Of course you don't put all of the gas in at once. Plus, it helps to throw the matches at it.... and make the gas in a heap of old wood. Don't lean over to drop a match in... bad idea. The worst I've done is singe off my arm hair. Plus, gas is FREAKING AWESOME. Light it up man.... get it on video. Toss some stuff in there... might I suggest a can of aerosol. They're AWESOME... the top blows off, and they litterally shoot fire out like a mini rocket. Very much worth the money.... might not wanna stand close to that though. I hide behind a small house.

.... I think gas is the last thing Arkansas needs... I don't trust them with the cars they're filling with the gas... much less an explosive
