New Computer I am building :)

http://secure.newegg.com/app/WishR.asp?ID=1126718

Getting the:

Motherboard, case, processor, and the raptor harddrive for christmas for sure

after that I am buying the 2x512 dual channel ram and then the nvidia 6800 gt.

Anyone have that video card? I have always owned ati but they dont have their stuff together with video cards as far as features are concerned for the price of the card.

Can't wait to get it all in going to be one hell of a system

the amd mobile 2400 35w version has unlocked multipliers, runs on less power which = cooler and when you pair it with the abit nf7-s motherboard and the patriot dual channel 2x512 memory you can easily overclock it to 2.5ghz on air

The regular anthlon xp barton cores have locked mulitplier and will not overclock as high

no the abit motherboard allows you to adjust the vcore and the ram I have has tight timing.

With the proper cooling and ram timing settings, as well as a good vcore volt it will be plenty stable

i bet man

Could have saved 800 dollars and put it toward your car and got the same performance from the computer I am building!

Still alienware is nice if you dont want to build one. Cant beat them as far as buying a built machine for gaming

Very nice, you should have hit up office max this weekend. They had a 200gig wd hd (8mb cache) for 49 after rebates and a 16x dvd burner for 30. I got the dvd burner and a 54g wireless router for a total of 40 after rebates

Didn't really need the hd since I have lots of space as is.

You can build a very nice computer for 500-700 bucks if you have a tower and monitor and mouse and key board stuff like that... no need to go spend 2k for a nice cpu when you can build one for 700 bucks that will run circles around it.

hahahahaha puny processor my ***

Have fun with your 3200 locked multipliers

the mobile 2400 xp 35 has unlocked mulitpliers runs cooler, and has the ability to be overclocked to 2.5ghz on air. When you pair it with the abit nf7-s and the patriot dual channel memory you cna easily run stable at 2.5ghz with a 1.9v core

2400 mobile 35w > Pricey locked 3200
