i hated highschool - too many ****in' cliques. you'll like college a lot better.

Well first off i say get a 96-98 4.6 GT an instant PI swap and as fast as a 99+. Will actually be cheaper insurance then your 99+.

As for dependable all I gotta say is I drive my s/c 89 around almost everyday I take care of my car top notch and its as dependable as when I had my 00 V6. So as long as you get something that was put into a world of hurt and you staying ontop of what needs to be done it'll be as dependable.

I totally believe he'll hit that what 70k you said. Ill tell you what I bought my 00 with 11k even this was in April 01 and in Aug 02 i had to get rid of the car and I had close to 90k on the car and thats when i was in HS.

As for kids picking on you cause of the V6 honestly f*ck em who cares you have a car. your *** aint on a bus or walking and you got a car that has nothing but class behind the name. or do what I did drop a nice amounts of $$ on the 6-er and spanked every single one of them sh*t talkers

So I say think it out well hey who knows in those what 2 years a 99+ will def be affordable. 99-00 are around 8-10gs now. Im hoping to pick one up this summer. Just think it out well and smart

see thats my biggest problem there are a ton of options i can do
1. mod my car to spank GT's and get shock and awe value
2. Buy a new car
3. save up for a nice car along time from now

i guess it just depends what my finances permit and prices ect.

i dunno i'm just thinking now. but 'eh who knows whats gonna happen?

and tim every time i drive to M&J's or to a meet i drive like 60-70 miles round trip.

Personally from experience just save the cash man. I dropped a decent amount of cash just to run low 13s and if I had more time high 12s.

My car stock ran high 13s a few mods and I was where I was at with my V6 with barely any cash spent.
Now I add a power adder (s/c) and boy puts my nitroused V6 to shame (i still love that nitrous and that damn 6-er though)

Like I said save it up man you got two years those two years learn how to manage cash. My best advice cause I was in those shows many of times.

My 02 has over 50K on it.. I haven't done a single mod to it because I'm saving up money for when I finish college...trust me, it's much better to know you have money saved back than to get the initial shock from an awesome car. I think you'd do better keeping your car now..it runs...gets you from place to place very reliably.
