RPM Outlet

I purchased my throttle on rpmoutlet.com and I returned it after not even a day of use because it didnt work right , as i mentioned on here before. I sent back all the instructions and whatever I got with it , and It cost me like 20 bucs to send it back. This was well over a month ago. Well my mom just called and they received it but arn't going to credit my account because It was damaged. That is Bull Crap! We did exactly what he said we would have to do to return it and we sent it and he said there was no instructions or screws sent back. The truth is we didnt get any screws in the first place . The manager george then told my mom that it was vaccum sealed which is even more bs. I strongly suggest that no one purchases from RPMOUTLET because the manager is a lier. Does anyone have any input or advice on what to do. He hung up, so my mom called back and she has been on hold for a half hour. This man is now saying he is going to charge a restock fee that he never mentioned before hand.Im very upset with this company and I hope you all acknowledge this.

I ordered an exhaust from them a while back. But when I got it, it was missing parts and was damaged. When I called to have it returned they said they wouldnt return it since it was UPS who damged it not them. I continued to call and repeatedly was hung up on. Finally I called my credit card company and canceled the order and let them handle it and told RMP I would never order from them again. Then I got a call from a guy saying they would refund my money and no hard feelings. Bunch of BS. will never order from them agian.

About 95% of the members of SVTP will tell you to avoid RPM like the plague. They have attractive prices, but their service and business practices have given them quite a negative stigma. I haven't delt with them, but from things I have read on SVTP, it seems like a real crap shoot with them, so I will not be doing any business from them.

Yeah, AMP really cost themselves a lot of cash. The dude with the engine issue is a member of SVTP and well, needless to say, that whole site started boycotting that place. I had a list of parts to get from them, till I read that story. They need to be more like Amazon Racing, Billetflow, and Lightning Force Performance. Those guys are great. Answer questions whether you are a customer or not. Participate in the forums on the site(s) they sponsor. Always running group buys/specials/etc. Great group of folks, hence they get lots of business. Makes sense to me.

funny you said that, I do remember eading about that awhile ago and was just telling few of my friends about AMP the other day.

And Smurfin thanks for the info, I troll svtperf alot but havent seen that many people complaint about them, andway do any of you know any stores that actually keep stuff in stock, or can get you parts within a day or 2 and not a month or 2.

I also ordered parts from RPM OUTLET and they will not allow me to return the parts. I ordered $767 worth of stuff and none of it fits. I ordered the stuff back in september and i am still fighting them to get the stuff returned. Try going through your credit card company if you ordered it with a credit card.

Rpmoutlet apparently sucks, no reason why this many people should be having this many problems.

If they keep it up they won't last long

I have put this in here rather than deleting it. I don't think RPM has a right to tell someone to take down a thread just because it is bad publicity for their company. Once Mike is re-imbursed, we can move this back into the lounge. People need to know about these guys.

I bought my exhaust from them, it got shipped in a box that looked like it subbed in an NFL football game.

It was missing all the studs, the mufflers were dented and one of the pipe's coating was missing. They wouldn't refund my money but they did send me a bag of new studs. Took 2 weeks to get it though...
