Found a pretty sweet mod for stangs

Well I dunno how many people have seen this. It's perfect for those who want a hard top, but at times wish they had a convertible. Its a targa top for mustangs. It's at www.jmsproductsinc.com here's some pics.

I think this is pretty sweet!

On the page it shows they have a new top. It will use the sides of the roof that is cut of and it will have a clear piece going across instead of the other top.

It works....is none of the rest of the page loading? At the top it has the phone number then the rest of the page should show up.

yeah imagine the flex that has now. real targa tops have the center brace and the tops out the side to reduce the chance of chassis warp.

i dont get it though, if you wanted a open roof, why not just get a convertible to start with?

i read somewhere (might have been on that page) that it is required to have subframe connectors and a strut tower brace (and maybe other stuff) before you install the system

the 94-98 ones look buttfugly...

targa tops just dont fit the lines of the newer stangs... the curved roof and targa dont go together, thats why it (T-tops) went so well on foxes, theyre nice and square.

seen that before, looks like crap. It just doesn't flow with the lines of the car.

i'd be more worried about

1) leaks
2) chassis stability
3) roll protection

it looks alright though

the things that are wrong with verts are enough of a reason not to get one. IMO

but to each their own

You forgot the part about ruining the value of the car.

Nothing is durable for ever (except for diamonds, lol) , anything will need fixing in the long run as time passes and things get older and used.
