This might sound wierd comming from a 17 year old, but I believe minors don't have rights until they are 18.

That was a very stupid decision, a Parent has every right to snoop and evesdrop. I would understand if Law enforcent had tapped the phone lines or something, people have reasonable expectancy of privacy in their own homes, but Kids have no reason to believe they are entitled to "privacy" while living in their parents home.

I agree to an extent. I wouldnt want my parents snooping on me on everything I do. They are just gonna find out stuff that will in the end hurt them cause of what they found.

There just things parents shouldnt get into esp ones private life. I know at some point or another we all did something bad that would make our parents sad hurt or even devastated and surprised.

Id also personally wouldnt rat out my own kid for ex. as taking an old ladys purse. Its just wrong. I also wouldnt want my own kid to hate me for lurking in his/her life. Just isnt my business.

Thankfully my parents never were all over me, but in the key areas where I really needed them they were there. Why is it so hard for parents to do that instead of lurking/snooping.

To quote Adult Swim last night,

"How dare the parents evesdrop on the kids in the house, they didn't pay for."

It is a parent's job to know what their kids are up too. Dayum activist judges are the only way that liberals can get anything done. You know people won't vote for that craziness so they send it to the courts
