power inverters

well since v6power is down, i'll ask here

looking to buy an inverter to run my laptop in a car for a long trip, what kinda specs should i look for and such?

i got one at walmart works great, we also used it for a computer we took with us on a trip, the battery went out and no more movies so we got one at walmart, they DO get hot so keep them in the open and your good.

the one that uses 400 watts should be fine thats what i use for teh laptop

me 2, and yeah keep in a place that air will flow over it they get hot.

lol v6power finally got owned... they were running phpbb 2.0.4... basically asking to be hacked. That version is a good 2 years old.. I called it to! Thats why I am on top of the upgrading server components.

Whoever created that worm was pretty damn smart

yeah i heard on 3.8 that they had not updated the phpbb thing for years
the siteb was up for a while but then got owned shortly after
