Okay one of the guys off my ranger forums was recently in an accident. He was stopped at a light and a freightliner with a 20ft trailer filled with rocks hit him. He walked away with a minor neck injury and is very lucky, but this goes to show how tough and safe rangers are.

i'll have to find pics of my buddies ranger that he lost control doing about 60 in the rain, rolled on its side down a 40 ft incline, and then wrapped it around a tree.

With all due respect that truck took a serious asswhupping.

I got rearened by a loaded 18 wheeler in my 99 Montana. I was stopped in rush hour traffic and he hit me, shoved me into another semi in front of me and that is what stopped us from continuing on.

My Montana did not suffer near the damage as that Ranger and the truck that hit me was doing 40-45 mph too.

I got pics of it somewhere but essentially all they had to do was replace the rear hatch and the grille. Bent the suicide bar on the truck in front of me and I dunno what happened to the rear truck.

Yeah they have a bad rollover rating, but the test they use now adays are way out dated. However when it comes to crash rating the ranger has one of the better ratings.
