personally i think hatches (especially gt's) look big and goofy and tacky. notches are sweet and low-key looking and it looks "purpose built" to be a drag car.

I beg to differ. I love both hatchs and notchs but theres just something about a HB. When you think foxbody you think fox wit hb (more think the GT styling though)

HB all the way

I like both..the Notches look a little more purpose built like Jimmy said. but just from looking the past few days a GT hatch is easy to find..notches...not quite

I do plan on doing H/C/I, and all if its not done already. I guess the gas mileage isn't as bad as i thought. 5.0 here i come

another nice thing about a HB, if you get caught in an ice storm (like last monday in south jersey..) and you can't get the doors on either side of either of your cars unlocked, you can climb in through the hatch, as the lock for that isn't in an area it'll get water into it

I had to do that when 30 minutes of using a hair drier got me nowhere's..

Never really cared for the fox. Looked like a squished up Fairmont and it really was. They have a 80's accord interior and heavens if you get the Disco Red interior, In mean everything was red. Like a whorehouse. The seats were a joke and the cornering was the worse. But it can be made fast for the straight line.

So in the long run if you like it buy it cause really who given a crap what I think anyway

my 89 can outhandle my 02 and is a bit faster while doing it..

the seat backs break, but the seats are pretty damn comfortable (at least to me) and bear in mind that the interior has a bit more class than an 80's accord (more cushy/soft to the touch stuff) and the fox was introduced before the 80s.. though the later interiors were introduced in the 80s.. so comparing an 80's car to an 80's car.. that's not that bad a thing, eh?

With the exception of a very few cars 80's interior in most cars sucked ***. But there were a few exceptions but the stang was not one of them.

I highly reccomend against that lol. Seriously. I HATE driving my car this winter. Ive never personally driven a s/c-ed stang in the winter time till this year. and im just urking to get some cheap pos cause the fox in the snow is the suck.

First snow storm had the *** end kick out on me on the worst times (towards a telephone pole)

I think I gotta agree with you. my 89 can pretty much outhandle my old 00 then again thats cause I choose to stiffen up my car quick fast. Suspension is key with these cars.

I totally agree on the seat back breaking but hey you know what it makes it 125% better when it comes to your girl wanting some cause my seat goes all the way back and lays on the backseat. Total win. Plus I LOVE the leg extensions on seat now thats win. I find my 89 seats way more comfortable then my old stangs.

One more thing who buys a mustang based on luxury?

if I want luxury ill go buy a BMW I dont look at the mustang for luxury cause
if it comes down to it all years have worthless interiors. Its pretty much all the way design minus how the lines fall in with the car but its all the same.
