Good chance I might be getting my first bike soon

Well i've been interested in bikes for a while and have wanted one, but had a couple problems. No money to buy one and never been on one so I needed a good one to learn on. Well my friend owes me some money and it doesn't look like he'll be able to pay so I might be getting the bike outta the deal. It's a yamaha srx250 I think it's a 1985. It needs very minor work, but I wouldn't one something expensive or perfect for a first bike. Anyway here's some pic.

It's red and white from what i've been told. So i'm guessing it'll look like one the pics i'm gonna post.

sounds fun, but they are dangerous to stay on back roads for a bit.

It'll be a great start when your learning. The only other "almost" running motorcylce my dad has is a Honda CB7. Not the best to learn on.

Is that a hybusa? j/k pretty cool bike to learn on. Don't want something too fast to learn on. just be a super defensive driver. People don't see bikes. A couple of my buddies have died on them.
