Yeah, or they will stand there on the side of the road looking at you then wait till you almost cannot miss them and dart in front of your path. Good thing I had new headlight lenses, on high I saw him and started slowing well before the moron had a chance to kamikaze on my Stang.

If I had my gun I'd a granted his wish though that is technically poaching.

Well I wouldnt say they are stupid to do that. Your gonna learn something new today. Deer can only see black n white. Reason why when they see light they freeze is cause its just like us their pupils are dilated a big bang of light gives them the blinding feeling and their pupils start shrinking smaller to focus on what the "pic" is. They just dont know so they stick around.

very true, thats why its Illegal to "Potch" (sitting in your truck with a flash light and a gun lookin for deere) aka "Spotlighting

It is illegal to spotlight any wild animal from a vehicle while possessing any firearm, bow or crossbow."

^ yep, if they catch you with a spotting light, and you happen to have anything from a pellet gun to a rocket launcher, it's bye bye vehicle.

Heck, if they catch you shooting from the road, with or with out spotlighting, day or night it's bye bye car, gun/bow and hello jail/fines. Hmm, if I spotlight them and run them over it's ok though.

same here, but I figured the vehicle was probably most important here, since it's a car forum.

I think it's funny that animals will sit at the side of the road and wait to run across until a car is actually comming

When I was younger and when people told me they hit a deer I never thought that an animal could leave such damage. But the more I hear these stories I'm starting to realize just how much bulk these deer pack. I'll make sure to NEVER hit one. My wheels are like my jewels, once they're messed up, they're never the same
