Huh. Saving money with them. That would be an interesting concept. Everytime I Call them, they give me a quote at least 20-30% MORE than my current policy. They want 578 a month for my cobra and 96 explorer right now. Told them to put the crack pipe down.

esurance.com

Be advised that too any insurance quotes will raise your rates, yes it is true. Insurance sompanies have a system similar to credit check compaines, too many inquiries is a negative.

hah gieco. just make sure when you go to the track you take your plates off, they have people that go to the track and scout plates, and any plates of cars racing that they have insured they will drop you.

Geico is affordable ins just like ferraris are, they wanted 250 a month to insure my cobra, and mercury ins and AAA both are 100 a month, same coverage and deductable. They are one of the most expensive companies i found. But seriously AAA and mercury are the cheapest by far, i spent almost a full day investigating. :worship:

I tried geico for a while and they were cheaper than everyone else. But then we went back to USAA because we qualify. All I have heard is positive stuff... interesting.

mine runs 80 a month full coverage so im happy but as with any insurance agency you pay out your *** for years then you have one issue and they try to squeeze out of it and screw you then cancel your insruance...

wtf... its insurance so its there WHEN you need it not there UNTIL you need it.

I've been with state farm for 12 years now. I haven't had a single problem with them. The rates I get are compteitive with all the others, and I've never had any reason to even think about going anywhere else.

Well, they quoted my $450/6 months for full coverage on my 96 Stang, my 99 Montana and liability on my 87 Diplomat, two drivers.

I am almost 40, I got three daughters and one in the oven.

I haven't been ticketed in a couple of years now, I haven't slowed down, just got smarter.

Steve

Yeah, I worried about that.

I've gotten pulled over regularly, but I usually get warning tickets. Usually because I am doing 74 in a 70, though one time I got a warning for doing 74 in a 55. Dunno why, maybe the Deputy though he was pulling a kid over in that red Mustang and saw an old geezer and felt pity, lol.

When I do put the hammer down it's out in the sticks where I can get away with it, otherwise I keep it to within 5 mph of the limit. Unless someone else is hauling butt, then I pace them from a bit of a distance. I even to that to cops who are flying along.

Steve

i got passed on the way back to birmingham by a cop, when I was going 82.6 mph.

then he pulled over a car i was following, who I'm sure wasn't going any faster than 84 tops.

This is why i stay out of the laft hand lane, and in the middle if possible.

I just use common sense when driving and dont do stupid stuff

Keep my eyes scanning ahead of me and I am always using my mirrors checking for cops

Onramps get scanned when I pass them for cops coming on the interstate

My speed on the interstate is around 85 mph reg and I have yet to get pulled over on the interstate, had a few close calls however

I never drive in the left lane for long periods of time unless its heavy traffic (wont be speeding in heavy traffic anyways) or passing someone in which I get right back into the middle or right lane after doing so.

Ask anyone(n8r) who rides with me on long trips. I am constantly checking all the cars out.

its not alwasy about the cheapest... some places will screw you over and not pay on anything you file and give you the boot.
