So its not a Mustang...

but still a Ford, Im not sure how I manged to get addicted to these vehicles..it really does baffle me lol. Anyways, Mustangs sold as of thursday, going friday to pick up my "new" 97 Ford F150 XLT, 4.6l Triton V8. Opinions of these trucks?

the F-150's are great trucks. I'm looking at maybe getting one towards the end of summer. We shall see how it works out, but I won't own another brand of truck.

The only "serious issues" are a small rust hole in the body when you open the drivers door that Im gonna take care of as soon as I get it along with sanding the underbody over time and painting it to try to keep the rust at bay. Its really the only thing I dont like about Fords, they seem to rust faster than any other. Second is the AC doesnt work, I told him I wont buy it unless its fixed, he said hed take care of it. Third, the shifter to switch between 2wd and 4wd is quite stiff from a lack of use. Any way to remedy this?
