ive found that a lot of this new rap sucks pretty bad. it all sounds the same, and a lot of these rappers have the exact same style. it's hard to tell who's who anymore.
i like a lot of the older rap a lot better - wu-tang, gravediggaz, cypress hill, etc. there was a lot of originality and style there.
by the way, notice that a lot of these guys put "Lil'" in front of their names - whats up with that?

hah or not, me>everybody, except for 232, i will never be able to top his uber coolness.
and yeah all the new rap/hip hop sucks major ass. people like chingy, lil jon and others have totally ruined it. but then again this is coming from the guy who thinks trance/techno is about to explode here in the states, cause just like rock and rap was, trance right now is more underground but more and more is being heard by bigger audiences(i.e. the popularity of that dj sammy heaven song overnight).

Nirvana doesn't keep releasing new stuff... I don't know how you are comparing the two.
They "found" a new song, "You Know You're Right" a little over a year ago and came out with a sorta Best Of album. There's only been one other album from them released posthumously.
