GT 5.0

I went the other day to this car shop, and found this black GT . whilst i was looking at it the cars salesman steped out and ask me if he could help me with anything. Well i ask him what model year was it and it was a 1995 GT 5.0 ,It has nice cobra rims and a new exhausts on it it looks pretty sharp he even let me take it down the block and it was like WOW anyways its got 90 000 on it and i was wondering if that is a bit to much to buy , he wants 5 000 for it, an if any of you know the spec on these 95 5.0 id really appreciate it.. I dont want to buy somebody elses headache if you know what i mean....

5000 is a fair price for a 95 5.0. I'll look up the tech specs and post later.

That's a great price for a 95 5.0 with 90k miles...Belive it or not ,90k miles on a 5.0 is nothing. The 94-95 gt/cobras have an endless support in the aftermarket industry.A 95 can be made fast very cheap.

1.P&P upper and lower cobra manifold.$800

2.P&P GT40 heads.$1,000

3.A nice custom cam. $300

This doesnt include labor but you get the point.

The 5.0 really likes a good H/C/I combo.

300 rwhp N/A would be no problem with a good combo.

before you jump the gun on this, even though I can tell your in love withit already...

get the VIN# and have some one run the car through carfax for you, just to be safe...

check for any body damage or frame work that may have been done, see if they will allow you to take it to your own local mechanic to over look it first, we almost bought a car 1 time and then took it to our mechanic and the thing was such a POS, thankful we checked first....

But if it all checks out, you are gonna be in such heaven!!!

Oh to have a V8... ohhhh hummmm

Hmmm not a good area huh... Was the car stolen maybe?

Get yourself a briefcase and handcuffs, I wouldnt pay cash, i would do a check of some sort for payment... then you can haveproof of purchase that way in case it should ever come back to haunt you!
