Use this Online Virus Scanner

Download Ad-Aware Se, Update it and run a Full Scan

Download Spybot Search & Destroy, Update it, Scan

Download HiJack This, Select System scan and Save log, PM me the log for further review

If its a virus Panda will get it, and if you have a virus I am sure there is Adware and Spyware to be removed.

After your system as been cleaned, click this to download Firefox. Much more secure and faster than Internet Explorer, with tons more options

^ Do all that to make sure you dont have a trojan on your computer that is trying to access another computer on the internet

If its clean then you can only keep blocking them

Usually its not even that computer thats responsible. That computer is probably infected with a trojan that is scanning computers ports for open targets

hmmm... i guess that makes sense.

i actually saw that thread you made a while back about scanning ypur computer and i did the panda scan, and it showed 46 infected files. a couple days later, i got a copy of norton 2005 from one of my friends and it found 2 trojans on my computer.

i have adaware as well.

so, can a trojan just automatically infect my computer, or do i have to open the file?

thanks for the help

Trojans can be got by you opening a file or you using IE to go to a site that automatically loads a trojan onto a computer because of a IE security exploit.

Worms infect you by you not having a firewall and coming in on open ports
