I respect TO

a lot of people said he was selfish for playing in the superbowl with an injury. since when was determination a trait of selfishness? if anything its respectable. ...and this is coming from a steelers fan and an anti eagles fan.

A lot of people in this world are ignorant...Apparently, they didn't see him perform this season.

I think it was mandatory for him to play tonite. They brought him here (trade from Balt. to Philly) and now he brought them there (to the superbowl). It would've been selfish had he not played, and instead worried about his career instead of the task at hand.

People who talk all of that nonsense about TO being bad for the game with his 'celebrations'...BAH on them...TO has every right to celebrate when he comes back from a ankle surgery, work hard through rehab, and then catch 9 passes for 122 yards in the Super Bowl. I don't care how much any of you hate the guy...I can't think of too many people that would risk further injury to help motivate and give his team a chance to win.

And no, I'm not a Philly fan at heart, but tonite I really wanted them to stick it to the Pats...It's ok, though...The Jets will get them in September

theyre lucky the steelers didnt make it to the superbowl because we would of beat them for the third time this season.

Who are you kidding?

The Steelers had no business getting to the Championship game. They had so many flaws in their gameplan it was a shoe-in for the Pats to go to the superbowl.

Mark my words...Pats will not get to the AFC championship game next season.

they had no business getting to the championship game? they were the first seed and an undefeated record with a rookie quarterback and rookie of the year. majority of the pro bowl team is steeler's players. who in place of them deserved it more?

Who cares about your record in the regular season...You can drop off on your game plan at any time. That goes the same for seeding. Being a first seed doesn't mean **** if you can't perform in these crucial games.

I think the Jets should have been in that game against the Pats, and ya kno what, it would've been a hell of a lot closer game than the Steelers played against them. Whenever the Jets play the Pats, it's always a toss-up. It's basic Jets knowledge...they play down to ****ty teams and play up to the good teams.

its stupid arguing over this because its a bunch of assumptions. you cant do what ifs when it comes to sports. you can say the jets should of won but they didnt. there isnt anything you can about it. you can say they could of had played better than the steelers against the pats but guess what we'll never know because they didnt make it that far. there wasnt any flaws in the steeler's gameplan either. if anything it was a rookie quarterback with a lack of experience in big games.

I'll say from personal experience with 2 screws holding my ankle together.... I have respect for the guy getting it all back together and being able to play in this game. I can hardly walk somedays, takes alot to get out and play some football. Overall, he has my respect.

Yeah i totally agree 100% TO put on a hellva performance and that guy has gained the respect of MANY people after yesterdays game.

its sad that most people think sport athletes are nothing but overpayed players but in heart they love that sport and will sacrifice themselves to do what needs to get done not only for themselves but for the team
