Question Did Anybody's?

car idle all wierd when they put on a upgraded mass air. When I install my custom tune & it doesn't make it better, I am sendin it back to pro-m. I heard sometimes pro-m makes defective mass-air meters.

If you buy one from Pete or a actual tuner it usually comes out good

I know but do you think it should take care of the idle problem? When I first installed it, it seemed to run finr for a couple of months. Then as I started adding more airflow (t. body, intake plenium) the problem started getting worse, so I took it off. Now that I am gettin my custom tune downloaded, I am gonna fiddle with fuel/spark curves.

What was it? Was your car stock or did you add parts?

it was just exhaust at the time.

i thought maybe it was because more air was LEAVING the engine than entering causing it to dip because of the bottleneck. not sure though. i think that it had something to do with the fuel filter being clogged beyond belief. once again.. not sure.

It all depends who is programming Both C&L and pro M have their strengths and weaknesses.

Personally I would go with a Lightning or Cobra MAF and get a tune and be done with it.
