They are both going for the late 60's muscle car retro look so they both looked like that then with some modern touches. Where as the back and rear on the stang are new the side are very similar to the current stang the Camaro whole body is different the body carries the 60's curves. I would have either

Enough said, right there, we can live without that car.

Well dont believe the wont be another camaro, The fact is the camaro dissappeared to get rid of the mullet image it was saddled with plus it makes it easier do do major redesigning without the cost of building current models that were not selling well. They are coming back but Pontiac has dumped the firebird revival for the GTO. Wow it would be cool it Chevy brought back a retro 454 Chevelle. Sorry this is not what some of you want to hear but I am not a chevy hater just like mustangs more. But I did have a 70 1/2 Z28, 74 Z28, 78 Z28 and a 87 IROC. But in retrospect with all the camaros I have owned I could not find myself to buy a camaro because the cars now look like Roach and the last couple of years the car looks weird the SS is fast but also ugly.

I think that camaro looks awesome!

If Chevy continues with their domination of Ford, you can expect the SS to be pushing 425hp!

That with T-Tops will be killer.

I would definately trade my 99 in on one of those!

I think GM needs to come out with the Camaro and Firebird again because it will give Mustangs something to compete with again thus giving Ford no choice but to but more power etc in the newer stangs. The 05 Stang looks 100x better than the Camaro, but i think after a few touch ups here and there that Camaro will look sweet.

Yes. There is no official camaro concept. They took ideas from people, and this was one that GM actually turned down.

The camaro is going to come back. Who knows when, or with what. I doubt itll be anyting insanly fast, as the vette takes GM's top priority.

But they WONT, from what Ive been told, be bringing back the firebird/TA. The firebird was originally meant to be a true sports car, 2-seater and whatnot. The vette took over and pushed the bird down to pony car level.

Also need to remember, concept cars look nothing like production cars. Look at the Mach III and look at a 94 SN95 stang...their "similar", but all concept cars come blown on 20's with more ammenaties (sp?) than a production car.

I think the 05 Stang will be sweet. Especially since the v6 is sitll supposed to cost somewhere in the teens 8)

Well the Guys at GM have already given the thumbs up on the new Camaro. Sure it will not be exactly likre the pic but it will be a quasi retro like the mustang dont be to suprised if Chevy tries to steal Fords thunder when they release it.

If the Mustang or Camaro look like the concept or the pics I would not mind owning either

That Camaro is ugly as hell. If Chevy makes a new Camaro its gonna be an ugly, boxy, plastic POS like every other Chevy out today,

How the hell can you say the new ones are boxy, they are nothing but curvy, I mean gosh they are so much more aero dynamic now compared to when they 1st were designed...???

Let all look at this from out side the BOX

I AM TALKING ABOUT CHEVYS IN GENERAL NOT CAMAROS, there are no Camaros anymore. Boxy with a #### load of plastic is Chevys new trend and a new Camaro would probably follow that trend.

I am talking about the Avalanches and other SUVs. The new Cavalier is pretty boxy too, I don't know any of the other Chevy cars, but drive past a dealership and you can see what I mean.
