I would have to say no. You just can't non-schalantly (spelling?) reach up and grab your own death. Sum***** didn't realize what he was getting into.

Re: SHOCKING!

Why the hell was he up there anyway....it's his own stupid fault. I love how everyone was running around like chickens with their heads cut off after it happened and no one helped him.

if i had to guess, the people who can't afford to buy a ticket basically become stowaways and ride on top.

Re: SHOCKING!

That would be a crazy sight to see. I have always wondered what it looks for electricity to actually burn a guy alive.

I'm gonna guess they didn't reach up and help him cause he was on fire. They all ran to grab a bucket or so of water.

Re: SHOCKING!

It's common to lose your shoes if you are struck by lightning because the sweat on your feet expands as it evaporates into steam and blasts you out of them like a rocket!

I don't think anyone actually did anything...o well, he was already dead. Two people died from those storms, one from lightning and the other from the wind knocking a tree over onto a moving car. The storms started here. It never rained but it was the loudest thunder and the brightest lightening i have ever witnessed. I sleep through everything and this woke me up. I seriously though we were being attacked by another country and they were dropping bombs outside my window. I grew up in PA where we had some wicked storms but nothing this loud.
