| PS2 = owned
Well after countless hours of 'on time' completing games many times over from RPGs to gran turismo type series... as well as being my exclusive DVD player since the ps2 was released... it finally took a dump on me.. the disc spinner is not contacting my discs anymore..
sucks.

any load problems with the blue PS2 discs?
that's the only problem my PS2 ever had.. trying to load games in that format..

how about you go buy a new one take the seal off carefully, place old broken ps2 w/ accers. in new box reseal bring back and get your money back. problem solved.
Thats how I exchanged mine when it sh*t the bed mmhms....Toy R Us kicks ass let me tell you :yup:

Most of the first gen ps2's would die within a year or shortly after. They put it out way to quick so those crapped out faster and tend to have the most issues when playing the blue disc. I got the second gen ps2 and have had no problems. Played countless dvd's and cd's and games with no problems. Had it for a couple years now.

My PS2 was on the first shipment over, and it took a crap on me just last year, most of them crapped out within a year.
I have a slim PS2 now, and it's perfect.  | |

yeah... basically the thing that spins the disc wasn't contacting the game disc..
so I ahem.. thickened it up a little bit

Generally it's the contoller codes that mess it up. It starts with the memory card.

you probably have the old version of the PS2, mine ****ed up and died after a year. Had to go buy a new one :-/ It's better though.
