I know there are several types of ghosting flames.. This one seems to be more popular so I did it first.. Another type would be to dust the falmes with white pearl and then add pearl accents in different colors for the different colors in the flames.. I've got the mask of the flames saved so its real easy from here to try anything else you might want as far as colors.

Can you do the white racing stripes on the pic of the front?

And can you add the pearl accents like you said?

They would actually look a little lighter than this but since its a pic I darkened the flames a little more than they should be. This would be what it would look like during the day time.. At night it would flicker when it passes under the lights because of the pearls. You don't want the pearls sprayed to where you get a solid color from them because you want the blue behind it to bleed through so it has a ghosting effect. Basically just dusted with some thinned out pearls. It looks much better in the real world.. I think there is a Harley gas tank at the shop that we're doing this to. I'll try to get a pic of it.

Yea, sure.. I'll work on that now.. I can't guarantee I'll be right back because sometimes I have to draw the flames 10 times before I get it right. Sometimes I get lucky though.

For awhile in the 80's flames were out and no one was doing them. I'm glad to see them come back myself because its still one of the coolest things you can do with paint. The pearl flames look real good on that color.

I think just about any color but the lighter versions of them. I did one on white at Stangnet and used about the same color as what a232stang's car is. It looked pretty good. Post a pic of your car and we'll see. You could do the ghost flames too but instead of dusting with white pearl, use blue pearls instead and red pearls and another color of choice.

I would say this is pretty kewl on the sides<RED FIRE I'm FAVORING>, but with sumthin this loud you best have the engine to back it up at the same time, 'cause you know once your at a red lights you are defitely going to be getting some looks, i know i do now at times, and especially my wifes does in her 2000 aswell!

But great work non the less, or just get ya 1 of those MAC CAI that seem to whistle a whole lot, I had 1 and boy in the mornings it was real raspy!
