I hope they do race but that 03 cobra guy is kind of a jerk and also has a fat head going by how he reacts to comments about his car...

He needs to stop being such a *****, man up, and race the guy. I don't know much about TA's but when he popped the hood, it didn't look like he had 90k invested in the thing. And it has a stock body, paint, rims?, and lights. That menas he either has a reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallly good sound system and some engine work or hes a poser.

lifting the front tires doesnt have much to do with how much power you have.... you need suspension to do it, therefore saying street tires would assume you have an AMAZING suspension setup, and lifting the tires does not a faster car make.

and all he shows was a lid, MAF, and heads and cam...even with headers, full exhaust, intake manifold, and other bolt ons, he's no where near a 10, maybe a high 11-low 12 depending on cam and heads he runs, but not low 10, and definatly not on street tires
thats if you have a shop install it. real modders do the work themselves unless theres extrenous circumstances. ive hoad only 2 things installed by a shop, 1 was a timing belt, which if youve never done one, youll agree why i paid to have it done. the second was a clutch job, and i know the shop personally so i was able to drop the car off on my way to work, have the guy take me to work, then pick me up and the car was finished within 4 hours, and i was able to race that night. something i could not have done in a weekend.

and i noticed how the vid says MAF and points to it like its some aftermarket thing. last time i checked, they come with them things STOCK.

well...do you think the average gearhead could do a cam and heads in an LS1 in two days? if the shop isnt busy, 2 guys can have a heads and cam swap in and running in 8-9 hours, then they run LS1 edit, which usually will take
an hour or so, then test drives, running codes, and making sure its all set

ive actually done a heads and cam with my buddy at the shop, its no easy task

as for the MAF, you can buy aftermarket MAF's for an LS1...even though that one appeared to be stock
