Nice Day

So it was a great day out today like 70+ so I got some **** done. First was the worst cuz I bought my books for my next quarter of school. On my way home I finally stopped at Exhaust Pros which is the best exhaust shop in town and talked to one of the guys there about getting a full exhaust. He said that the best setup they have is JBA headers and Magnaflow X-pipe with Magnaflow Maganpack Catback, and for the full install I am looking at around 2K, which was kind of disappointing because I didnt think it would be quite that much, bot oh well. Lastly I washed my car after I got my leaky Tail light sealed up, and took some pics, which I wish I could take better pics. So here they are.

2k OMG thats horrid.... you can get it done FAR cheaper... how much are you looking at for parts only.. just pay someone to install the headers then have it trailered home and install the cat back adn X pipe yourself.

that is what they gave me so the catback and the midpipe include labor so I dunno what they would be paying for them, but yeah that is what i was thinkin was tow it home and do the rest myself.

did you do headers? I would like to do the headers myself but I hear that L/T's are a PITA to do if you don't have a lift

you can do em yourself but its just about as easy to pull the motor lol

I would check on getting LTs installed. Just have em also bolt on the X pipe since... it will bolt to the stock cat back... then just install the cat back when you get home

save a TON check prices on the interweb dont pay shop prices.

I doubt you'd get pulled over, how far away is this shop? if you get pulled over just let the guy know you've had exaust work done and are trying to get home to finish up the job without paying an arm and a leg

I had to drive my car to work 4 miles away with open headers. Car run like utter crap, but I was revving at people the whole way.

My advice, have them just install the headers, and put your stock stuff back on. Then replace everything yourself.

If your talking about the manifold bolts I think your talking about dou then I have a solution. Take out the starter and the wheel well shroud, then you have some better access to them.

Yeah, the car won't run well because you won't have 02 sensors installed with just the headers on there.

Haha amen, you can find a much better deal on this exhaust. It would have to be borla, and specifically made for my car before I pay anywhere near that much.
