I couldn't help but brag...I'm glad my inexperienced driver days are over!

You guys are getting some really crappy rates... they weren't that high when I was 16...

it also helps that your a girl guys get screwed even if their driving a geo metro . My ex bro in law had a 4door 2000 chevy metro and he had some wrecks and tickets and the cheapest he could get was about 2k every 6months and he was 21 at the time. Given I know the wrecks and tickets made it worse, but even without them he'd of been screwed.

Just ran some quotes, these all are quotes for a 21-24 yrs old male with no tickets or accidents driving a 1999. All quotes 100/300/100 Liability limits $5,000 medical and $500 deductibles for comp & collision, There were no discounts for multiple cars or homeowners on these quotes as well. These are State Farm prices for Illinois, prices will vary from state to state, plus these are very general prices and can vary from person to person.

V6 Coupe - $1300.61 - 6 month premium, worst rating
GT Coupe - $1526.26 - 6 month premium, worst rating
Cobra Coupe - $1663.07 - 6 month premium, worst rating

V6 Coupe - $809.39 - 6 month premium, best rating

Was paying $1560/yr w/ 2000v6 (USAA)
Now paying $1500/yr w/ 2003 Dodge Ram
Will be paying $1920 - 2400/yr w/ 2000 - 02 GT

I'm 22 w/ good student discount (even though I haven't been in school for almost 14 months). One wreck (my fault, I was the only car involved) and 2 speeding tickets (neither were reported).
