man.. that sucks.. woulda sucked more if he was in the car driving it on a track or somethin..

thats sad though.. i actually have pictures of that guys car i think saved on my pc... those pics at the end were my desktop at one point.

it would suck if he got some pieces into the motor.

all it looked like is he was running a dry nitrous setup and it pooled inside the runners and detonated. this is why WET nitrous is always better.

i saw that happen to a lightning at FFW last year....his intake/supercharger were toast.

Umm... that is a wet kit. Dry kits are injected before the MAF. Thats about 6" before his TB which is where you install a wet kit unless its direct port injection. Dry nitrous cant pool, its just a gas... wet nitrous does pool because its gasoline mixed with the actual nitrous gas. By the looks of it, the nitrous did pool up because it blew a nice hole in his intake tube right where the nozzle was installed. Sucks for him, I hope that never happens to me.

Bingo

Puddling is the effects from running your nitrous at a low bottle psi.

Could have been alot worse though. :yup:

So ZIm remember as long as your bottle pressure is where its suppuse to be at your A okay
