calling all google chrome users

Is it just me or do you get a lot of "oops that links appears broken" when you open a page, but then you refresh the page and then it works fine.

Re: calling all google chrome users

firefox works fine!

Do you use wireless? That happens a lot on a wireless connection if your computer has been asleep or whatever if you come back and crank up your browser before it can re-establish the link.

E: obligatory, Is the computer plugged in?

Re: calling all google chrome users

I do run wireless, but that's not it.

example: after I post this. I'll click the unread post link and I may or may not get that message. If I do. I instantly chick the refresh button and it always pulls up the page the second time.

Re: calling all google chrome users

I read in the paper early as well they are taken many of their applications such as Gmail, Docs, and I forget what else, out of Beta to appeal to businesses.

I use Chrome all the time, and I haven't seen that problem. I really like it; I hope you can get it to work with your setup!

IE8 is slow as dog **** on my computer at home. Opening a blank new tab alone takes about 15-20 seconds...opening a link in a new tab takes about 10-15 seconds before it even starts loading the page. Because of this, I've gone back to using FF and just removed all of the add-ons that were slowing it down. Chrome was pissing me off with all of the sites I would go to that wouldn't render properly.

Firefox 3.5 is where it's at. CTRL+SHIFT+P. End of story.

Re: calling all google chrome users

I use chrome most of the time on this forum and have not seen any problem. I use all 3 browsers during the day, each has its own purpose.
