Might be getting another fox soon..

I'm going to check it out tomorrow..
'93, 1 year old paint, no rust, gt40p iron heads, full exhaust, b303 cam, aftermarket upper/lower intake, 3.73s, lots of work done to it.. fully redone interior, etc..

120k miles..

sweet car!!! i love that color - same color my 93 was - and mine also had a mint condition black interior. only difference is mine was a notch, had roll-up windows and non-power locks (some say you couldn't get non-power doors in 93), and was missing half its cylinders as well as 2.7L of displacement.

IMO hatchback foxes look soooo much better than the coupes, I'd rather have an extra 150-200 lbs of weight over my rear tires (good thing) than have a car with little to no trunk space and look kinda strange (with the rear glass right behind the rear passengers' head..) that's just my opinion though..

I've always liked the hatches better..

That's about how much one would cost in my area too, I looked for months to find a nice Fox GT for less than $4500 with no luck!

I settled for a 90 LX 2.3 POS!

Body in decent shape, not too much rust if I can't help it. (I've had to work on a rust bucket before, it now has stop signs for floor pans)

O, and one of my friend's grandmom has a 92 5.0 GT, white, black racing stripes, 5% tint, lowered, w/ sound system. She bought it brand new and doesn't ever want another car, I keep telling her she needs to sell it to me and get her a new one lol

so I went to check out the car today..

pull up behind it.. the car sits perfectly... gleamed in the sun...

talk with the guy, nice guy, a police officer appareantly.. check the car out some.. look around it.. small oil leak, nothing major (probably typical rear main seal) while I'm looking under the car I notice he has subframes welded in.. sweet! haha..

rear was already completely rebuilt, 3.73 gears... get in, fire it up, go to take it out for a ride..

accelerates/rides like your average car around town.. punch the gas, the thing comes to life, it hauled up to 90 faster than I could say whoah.. interior was mint too, a few small scratches on some of the dash plastics, but extremely minor and easy to ignore...
alarm system, tint, all sortsa work done to it.. only thing I wasn't sure about was the second gear engagement (something just didn't feel right to me.. ) however I have a trans with 30k miles on it sitting in my driveway, so... that wouldn't be an issue..

I'm recalculating all my costs/ income/$$$$ and seeing if I can afford the thing.. its definitely worth asking price if not more..

I want the car
