well guys im back... i tested it... its a very strong car, however there are som things i wasn impressed about. Everything was original, so thats cool... It seemed to be running pretty hot, and the leather on the driver side wasnt in great condition. The car was also a smoker car, but other than that... it was awesome. I dont know that ill get this one, but toda I actually got a call from another guy in KC that saw i was looking at cobras and told me he had a 94 for sale for 8k with 66k on the chassis and a rebuilt motor with only 500 miles on it. Needless to say, im going to look at that one tommorow. I took pics of the 95, ill put them up later cause im not on my computer... however here's the 94 im goin to look at tommorow, with all the mods, it seems like a far better deal than the 95.

I have to go with the majority here. The red one looks like a steal with the condition it is in.

the red one looks sweet only thing i would consider is it has 4.10 gears. Which are cool for some for street driving but too much for others. I will tell u have rode in a 95 cobra with 4.10's and a 125 shot b4 and u can't hardly shift fast enough when ur on the juice. But with that motor being rebuilt with forged internals throw a vortech on it go up to 12lbs of boost and wave bye bye to most all the competition.

told ya you won't get a good cobra for $6k

a GOOD condition 94-95 go for 8-10k depending on where you look.

96-98 are 10-13k and 99+ can be found for as cheap as $13k but expect to pay $15k+

well, the white one is stock. or so i gather. so you'd have the joy of making it into whatever you want it to be... but on the downside, from the pics, it looks to have a lot wrong with it. see if you can beat dude's price down at all...

the red one is sharp. i don't like the a-pillar gauges, cuz they tend to get noticed, and end up getting your **** jacked. and the tan interior is uuuugggglllyyyy. the new motor is cool, but again, it's already built, so you can't really do a whole lot with it

if you can get the dude with the red one for sale to take $8000, then i'd say go with that one

wether stock or not, you always have the option of changing things... that motor should be around where I am, probably better, since he took the time to do the port work where I didn't

whats with the fear of 4.10's anyways? damn you act like thats alot of gear or something..

congrats! they are really nice though, its still a cobra, you still get good brakes and leather interior and all that, im suprised, it would be hard to find one for 6K 8-10 is what they were going last I looked but its been a while. of coarse that is one thats never been wrecked. ermm, bum door, whatever it is thats wrong with it.
not all have leather... most do but not all

3.73s were determined ot be the best gear for 5.0's I believe..

the 302 dosn't really rev high at all..its a torquey motor and dosn't need gears to make up for anything.

The 4.6 however is a higher-revving engine and dosn't make as much torque as low as the 302, so people gear them with 4.30s since they can rev to 7500+ and make up for the tq they don't have.

redline for my 88 5.0 is like 5800-6000rpm but the power band stops at like 5500 or something similar, same with the 4.6 its power band stops around the same area and doesnt need to rev to 7500rpm nor would I want to with a stock one.

7500 rpm? uhh yeah no mustang in any resemblance to stock form is gonna make that kinda power no matter what motor it has in it. Even the 4v cobras will drop off power at that high unless there is alot of modification done to it.
