Lose the backseat, spare tire and jack, passenger seat, put on your stock 15-16" wheels if you still have them, and take off all your clothes before you go down the track.

Should shave some time off by doing that

spare
everything in the trunk not needed
back. seat
pass. seat
all plastic interior molding
carpet
glove box
speakers
deck

should be roughly 100lbs there. every 100lbs=.1 faster in the 1/4. not worth it if you ask me, just buy better/more go fast goodies and save yourself the hassle.

I've never taken anything out of my car for a track run..

but if its autocross or something other than straight drags... back seat, passenger seat, sound deadener under the carpet.. all your subs/amp and stuff, spare tire/jack and anything else you won't need for the race..

If he needs to shave and go to the track naked, he should probably spend the night before with some laxatives. That way you know the body is just about as empty as it can get.
