finally did what needed to be done

remember the chick from this thread http://mustangevolution.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=13943

well sunday morning at 2:30 am she calls me drunk and leaves a message that says

"hey kyle, i'm sorry. i should've listened to you, you were right. he is an *** and thats all he wanted. i'll talk to you tommorrow."

so i call her up sunday evening and she is with some friends playing poker and that she would call me back---she doesnt.
so today, about 2 i call her up and basically tell her that

"this is way too much bull**** and i already lost a friend of 10yrs b/c of this situation. drama belongs in high school leave it there. i cant, and dont wanna, deal with all this ****. i should have let you go a couple months ago but couldnt. but i now realize that it has to be done. goodbye."

toward the end of this, i heard what sounded like her dropping the phone on the ground. she didnt hang up b/c i saw we were still connected.

now i have to wait until tommorrow at 2 when i ask the girl in my english class out to lunch.

i dont have a long mourning period when i comes to this, which to me is a good thing.

well i finally read that previous thread, and now this one, and from a girl's point of view...she sounds like she was just using u as a back up plan even though she says she didnt' want a relationship but still went out with ur friend...thats messed up...and that gives girls such a bad name cause not all of us are like that....but i agree with u...i would have done the same thing if a guy did that to me

Dude why would you mourn She was not your girlfriend. Wow after reading the first post and this I see that you were still hanging on to the thought of being involved with her but you were just a crutch like everyone said. You have been the creator of the very drama you said you hated and brought it here!!! Forget her and to hell with mourning for something you never had !!!

Please, there are far worst things posted on a daily basis. I rather have a thread about someone seeking advise or telling a personal story than a thread about getting high or street racing.

the mourning comment was meant in sarcasm. and the reason why i called her back was b/c she made it sound like she maybe wanted to start over again. the drama was not brought on by me. the whole situation started b/c my friend went behind my back first and tried to ask out a girl he knew i liked.

i am not bringing anything here but a story that has happened to me.

i don't have a problem with you posting it. It kinda started as asking for advice, and now you're letting us know how it went.

Although what your friend did was not something a good friend should do to another friend but I have seen over and over friends screw over friends when it comes to dating and sex. Since she was not your property he was within his right to ask her out. Many people in your age group will let friends go for a girl. Hell when you are the first to marry out of a group of unmarried friends you typically move on and gain married friends. Just the way it happens.

I was not hammering you but more or less wondering why you seemed to be waiting for her. If the mourning was a sarcasm then that is cool. I have a cousin that wasted 2 years for a girl that dumped him because he would not ask her to marry her. She stayed married for 6 months and divorced him and got back with my cousin only to get married without him knowing again and having relations with him after she was married for a several months.

PLEASE NEVER WAIT ON NOTHING!!!

no offense, but you liking her doesnt mean she's your girlfriend... you likeing her and wanting to go out is different from your friend actually doing it. again I dont mean to come off like a ******* but, get over it you liked her and didnt act upon it and someone else did. whocares.

no ****.

he knew i liked her and he was trying to ask her out even when he had a g/f. and what pissed me off was the fact that before we even met, he tried to set us up.

the whole situation doesnt bother me anymore b/c i removed myself from it.

I would care. Back in the day when I was dating If I knew a friend really liked a girl that I just wanted to mess around with. then I would back off, and viceversa. It is just a loyalty thing between friends. imo

it all depends

if he wanted a quick piece of ***, and you wanted a quick piece of ***, its every man for himself

if youre going for a relationship, your buddy shoulda backed off

think about it this way, if youre pissed now because your buddy started to persue her, imagine how pissed youd be if he tried to take her from you...be glad the situation didnt go any further, such as you hooking up with her, your buddy could have put you in a whole different world of hurt, and you probably would have beaten the **** out of him

then i would have given you a more hardcore "i told ya so"
