Re: Blue Oval Industries

Yeah i ordered a pair of "brand new" smoked cobra headlights from them through ebay and in the description and on their website it sayes they check every box before they send them out. I get them and open like a kid on Christmas, first off they were not packaged very well and they were wrapped in plastic which had melted to the rubber on the side markers. The lenses were all scratched up also. Emailed them and said i wanted a return and to send me a return label like any other business would do. They replied, "Those normal businesses are now bankrupt thanks for your advice, enjoy your headlights." That set me off so i called and the called ended with them hanging up on me so now i have filed a dispute with my credit card and sent them back today. I just wanna offer this advice to everyone on here to not order anything from them due to their lack of respect to their customers and just about making $ selling damaged parts.

Wow, that's a great way to keep business. You'd think aftermarket retailers would realize that when you act like this it will spread through the interwebz pretty quick.

Re: Blue Oval Industries

Just filed another complaint to the Better Business Bureau and they have 31 complaints from customers on file. How can they still be in business?

Re: Blue Oval Industries

If you do not get this resolved let me know...I have connections and have gotten things resolved in the past. Let's just say showing up at the owner's house tends to help situations...

Re: Blue Oval Industries

they obviously have NO idea how to run a business, we can steer you toward people who actually WANT your business not just your money

Re: Blue Oval Industries

makes me wonder how someone with such a bad reputation can stay in business. If its all drop ship type stuff you dont have an overhead I guess~

Re: Blue Oval Industries

What do you mean by drop ship, cause in his response to my complaint he said it was a drop ship for another company which is obviously a lie cause i called blue oval industries and talk to him on the phone before he hung up on me.

Re: Blue Oval Industries

Drop Ship means the business you buy from buys from another business and they ship it to you.

Basically say you order a set of wheels from ABCpartsdepot.com they take your order and process it. Then they call their wholeseller Bobs Wheel Emporitum and More and place an order for your wheels to be shipped to you. Then Bob's shop drops the wheels and ships them to you at their local UPS Store.

That means that ABCpartsdepot.com NEVER touched the parts, they were just the middle man.

This keeps the business from having to keep stock of parts, they only order and ship what you as customers buy. Maximum Motorsports drop ships for example, you may buy from some web site but they buy directly from maximum motorsports and then ship it to you.

Re: Blue Oval Industries

Citi credited me today for the purchase but i'm still going through BBB to get my return shipping back. He keeps responding that he has never talked to me before nor have i placed an order with him. Whats great is that if you type Blue Oval Industries into google, their website comes up first and underneath are links to a bunch of different forum threads of other customers who have had problems with them.

Re: Blue Oval Industries

I bought 2 foglights from them at Carlisle. When I got home and opened the box, there was only 1 in there. I called them for 3 weeks as well as emailed them. Finally, they took care of it and sent me the missing foglight. They made good on the deal even though it took a while. I'm 50/50 on whether I will buy anything from them again.
If you have a bad experience anywhere, be sure to write down date, time, who you spoke to and the issue.
