If it's a discussion, then flame away. Get passionate about it. If It's a high school, you wont get in trouble. Teachers aren't supposed to bring up politics in classrooms.

You don't have to agree what with what they say but you have to respect their opinon. You can't change it with anger,Just let them think the way they want to think.

I have other problems to deal with and don't need to argue over politics.Sure we can vote but does one vote really matter?

^ i take it that you haven't noticed this

whenever people's thoughts on the state of the economy come out and his popularity rating starts to drop, the media comes out with a whole new slew of "terror threats and alerts" ...seems to me that bush is leaning on the media to keep his ratings up... and lets not forget that no WMD have been found in iraq. half of bush's "evidence" that was used to push going to war on iraq was fabricated. meaning, guess what, it wasn't true... bush is a liar and i crack mongrel. i say impeach him. he's just as bad as saddam, talkin about "we're the global police, we're the US of ****ing A, bow down"

so yes, impeach bush... but the best president ever was john f kennedy

:p

i think its a great idea :

we put them in office and if they cant have a higher approval rating than 28% of their own party then they dont need to be in.

Yeah, And how long would it take for you to change your mind? 35 Billion? 50 Billion? 100 Billion? How much of your money do you want a politician to throw away before you say "engough is enough"?

Darkling:

Where is your proof that Bush fabricated the WMD deal? You want Bush to provide proof of the weapons of mass destruction but can you provide proof that he lied?

To think that Bush should be impeached is crazy.

Clinton of all people should have been impeached.

Nixon was impeached and he should have been.

Bush on the other hand did nothing to be impeached.

Saddam Killed 1 million people. and had Bush not said #### you France he would still be killing people. Along with Uday and Qusay who are no longer with us. talkin about "we're the global police, Uh We are. Who are we going to rely on to keep us safe? the French? LMAO we're the US of ****ing A, bow down" yes? and? what should we say? Yes Saddam you can stay in power and continue to make weapons and continue to attempt to take over Kuwait and continue to let the French help saddam. Who was going to stop him? The UN? HA. No. Have we had another terror attack since 9/11? No. How many terror attacks did we have under Clinton? 1 To many. How many terror attacks did we have under Bush? 1 period.

BTW its nice how Clinton was in office for 8 YEARS and got no where with the Israel and Palestine deal.

Looks like Bush is doing a Damn good job with that huh?

:sigh:

i will never understand why people think like they do.?

so yes, impeach bush... but the best president ever was john f kennedy

well people voted Clinton in for two terms... so that agrument doesnt hold well. people do stupid stuff.... alot......

I will not vote for a Democrat because 1) they are short on Morals.... killing unborn babies..... 2)letting someone who kills 1 million people rule a country the size of California....... 3) Letting Jaque chirac push us around like we are their ##### 4) DOING ABSOULUTLY NOTHING ABOUT THE TERROR ATTACKS IN
1993: WTC Attack 1
1996: Attack on the Kobar towers
1998: Attack on US Embassies.
2000: Attack on USS Cole

There are more I just cant remember off the top of my head.

Do you realize how lucky Clinton was?

I mean he took office in 1992... lets see what big event happened around that time....

HOW ABOUT THE .COM mania. Internet being created(which we can think Al Gore for )

That couldnt possibly have any effect on why the economy was so great could it?

Ah and the fact that Enron and WorldCom payed no TAXES WHAT SO EVER durring the 8 years in office.

Clinton had ties with Enron. But you dont hear about them. He donated money to them.

Enron wasnt paying taxes for 6 years. When Bush takes office it is uncovered. Enron falls. everyone Blames bush. Go figure.

And you want to know why the economy sucks so bad right now?(It really isnt as bad as the media swears it is.)

One Number a / and then two more numbers.... 9/11

Four Planes(all owned and operated by American Companies) where hijacked by Muslim exremists and they flew two of these planes into two of the tallest buildings in the world...... they send one more into the Pentagon. and another on its way to washington was taken back over and crashed before it could do more damage.

I dont know about you but that would set off one hell of a chain reaction if you ask me.

Something about 3,000+ people dying and billions upon Billions of dollars lost made the economy kinda week.

I have missed alot of points I want to make cause I am pissed of now

Oh well...... lets see what kinda reaction I get from this.....

we know he had WMD. He has already used them. One ohter reason why he should have been taken out in 1991 and 1998.

We have found mobile weapon labs, along with material that could be used to make weapons of that nature.

All of which were illegal.

You know them SCUDS that he was launching at Kuwait? According to Hans he didnt have those. And those other missiles that Blitz was destroying before we went in..... he seemed to have more of thsoe hidden he wasnt telling anyone about.

To put it plainly he violated for Resolutions than was necassary to go to war. Whether we do find weapons or not. It was plenty just.

And Bush can only make decisions as well as his advisors. If anyone is to blame its them not Bush.

If I may add something on the economy issue. Usually a presidents influence on the economy don't take effect until years later. Therefore the next pres usually deals with the economy as it was handled by the previous pres. When Wild Bill took office, the economy was good, not because of his doing, but because of Bush Sr. Now that Bush Jr. is in office, the economy has gone bad, so all the Dem. want to blame it on him, but in all truthfullness, he has to deal with this crap economy Clinton screwed up cause he was dickin around with monica. And the 9/11 crap didn't help it much either. So just watch, in a couple years, see how the economy is doing, then judge Bush on how he does. When you are dealing with money in the trillions, it doesn't take affect overnight. Everyones so quick to knock Bush on the economy, if people sat down and developed some common sense then they would realize how dumb they sounded

As far as the economy goes, there is no doubt that Bill Clinton presided over a favorable economy and a remarkable expansion in the stock market. But remember that most of this expansion was due to the rise of the Internet and the resulting speculation on Internet stocks. Remember when the economy started to go south? That's right, just when the Internet bubble burst. Al Gore's attempt to take credit for inventing the Internet notwithstanding, nobody in their right mind would claim that the Clinton Administration was somehow responsible for the Internet boom.

But if you insist on crediting Bill Clinton with the rise of the stock market, then you must also blame him for the "irrational exuberance" that led to its collapse. You must therefore also blame him for the recession. Otherwise, you're crediting him for handing out the drinks at the party and blaming his successor--the guy who has to clean up the mess--for everyone's hangover the next day.

If you'll recall: Under Bill Clinton, the White House became a glorified motel, where the Lincoln Bedroom was rented out to contributors who coughed up enough dough. Military secrets ended up in the hands of the Chinese, who laundered money that ended up in the hands of the Democratic National Committee just in time for Clinton's re-election campaign. Al Gore was dispatched to hold illegal fundraisers at Buddhist temples, where he collected money from dozens of nuns who--despite having taken vows of poverty--each managed to produce a $5,000 check for Clinton's re-election. His top fundraiser, Terry McAuliffe, the current head of the aforementioned DNC, made $18,000,000 from a $100,000 investment in Global Crossing, now bankrupt and under investigation for shady government contracts during the Clinton Administration. On 20 separate occasions, Enron asked the Clinton Administration to underwrite foreign loans; on 19 of those 20 occasions, the administration said yes, to the tune of $2 billion dollars. And let us not forget about selling presidential pardons to drug-runners and fat-cat tax-cheat felons on the lam in Europe. Or the looting of White House furniture for their new home, which is unfortunately located in my home state. And all that's without even getting into Whitewater, the Travel Office firings, or the perjury scandal.

Bill Clinton is a low-life thief, a petty swindler, and a smooth-talking scam artist more suited for Tammany Hall than the White House. But I will admit that Bill Clinton was a man of action, as long as that action involved greasing his palms (or anything other body part for that matter) or furnishing his house. Somehow, Bill Clinton found the time to conduct all of that "business", but he was too busy to take Osama bin Laden when the Sudanese government offered to hand him over to us in 1996. Think about it: we wouldn't be chasing bin Laden around the globe right now if Clinton had focused a little more on taking care of the threats against us and a little less on figuring out every conceivable way that he could cash in on his power or use it to get women.

Depends on What the Meaning of "Peace" Is
Which reminds me...as far as giving Clinton credit for presiding over a time of peace, what kind of peace was it? During the Clinton Administration, there were 6 major terrorist attacks against the U.S. which left over 415 dead and 6,500 injured. It seems to me that it's very easy to maintain the illusion of peace by ignoring the dangers that surround us. You may look back fondly at the 1990s as a time of peace, but it was a peace during which we relaxed while our enemies were getting stronger and preparing to annihilate us. That's a pretty shallow peace if you ask me.

Bill Clinton is shallow because he spoke often of his convictions but did nothing to realize them. He's shallow because he was given remarkable gifts and the opportunity to do great things with them, yet he achieved nothing substantial. In the end, his presidency amounted to little more than talk and corruption. He rarely took any action unless it somehow benefitted him. But whenever action mattered for the good of the nation, Bill Clinton was nowhere to be found. And that is why the man who spent the final days of his presidency fretting about his legacy will find it to be recorded quite accurately by history: Bill Clinton is a shallow, failed man.
