Good Luck man. Cigs were never my thing...plus I told my mommy I wouldnt

Just remember this man the first hardest days are the first 3. Once your done with the first three its all mental from there. Believe that.

Good Luck man seriously. I been trying to get my friend to quit cigs for like years now he smokes a pack a day everyday and if we are out partying it can get to two packs

Remember after first 3 its all mental Good luck man hope you prove right and do it. :yup:

Go get the patch from the HAWC. They're free, all you have to do is sit through the class, I think. Believe me, especially since the new fitness standard came out, you'll feel worlds better for quitting. You just have to take it a day at a time. Good luck!!

I quit Jan. 22 of 02. I am so glad I did, I dont' even like the smell of them anymore, they stink man. And I smoked for about 30 years off and on, as much as 3 packs a day average at times. I started when I was like 21 or so in the Air Force, someone told me if I smoked the smoke in bars would bother me, it never did stop bothering me, still burns my eyes to go in a smokey bar, lol. I just try not to go in them often. If you are a veteran the VA has a very good stop smoking program and they will give you the patch etc to help you out too.

you know whats evil, its like I played my own sick joke on myself

i've been feeling more energetic lately (I think because of the smoking thing)
so I was cleaning out my appartment really well today, upon moving some things around I find guess what, a pack of malboro lights, alright, I scoff pick it up and start to hurl them to the trash can only to find that its around 2-3 short of a full pack (holy ****ing jesus, its got to be the last temptation from god or something, because I NEVER lost a pack of cigarettes) and whats sitting right below it, fallen from the same spot of clothes? a lighter of coarse, my own lighter, my own pack of cigarettes.. its almost too good to be true, I made it, both box and lighter reside outside at the moment, so that I don't have to see it and think about it... going to someone that smokes since thats the tradition apparently i'll give em to my boss I guess.

im just amazed that someone or something would do something so wrong to tempt me lol, and it was me that did it, damn you me!

that forbidden fruit sounds so good to me too... I might have to throw it in the trash or something. im definetly not going to smoke that **** now.

5th day today, I suppose its getting easier

i tried cigarettes a few times before. mostly i would take a hit (like 3 times) and on one occasion i smoked the whole thing.... as i was smoking it.. i thought to myself.. im going to finish this one and never smoke one again. it sucks.. i dont know why people do it.

Dude, you've made it so far, congrats on not smoking those. It gets easier, trust me. When I stopped, being around smoke bothered me. I hated it.

Good, I still smoke. I figure I will smoke til I'm 23. Give me 2 years to mellow out on the legal to drink thing. Cause you know you have to have a smoke if your drinkin.
