peer to peer

well, I haven't downloaded using peer to peer in a long time (besides bit torrent)
which im going to redownload bit torrent and attempt to find some new warez sites but thats not what I need..

I need a good peer to peer program for mp3's or better yet, if you have a bit torrent site where people share cd's in uncompressed format that would be excellent. basically I've used everything under the sun, the last program that I was using sucessfully was kazaa lite, however its become a pay site, and I'll be damned if im paying to do something thats illegal in the first place.
I suppose I could crack it if I had too.. but i'd rather just find a better replacement.. and I didn't have much luck using bearshare either.

suggestions welcome

does aresgalaxy have the fake file problem that is infecting places like kazaa, winmx, gnutella, etc?

the last mp3 i was able to dl was a good few months ago, i just been streaming and ripping from DIFM.com using a program called RIPcast. but we now have a rock station again and im hearing new songs and need to DL them and finding that its more of a pain than its worth nowadays.

btw i had areslite a while ago and remember i couldnt connect or it would take a hour to finally connect, and searches for the most popular crap like evanescence or trapt would return maybe 2 hits.

All peer 2 peer have the fake file problem.

I encounter it less with Ares though.

Ares works fine for me

I have to give another vote for LimeWire. Just run Ad-aware / Spybot after the install and you should be fine. It's been the only peer to peer I've ran in about the last 6 months and haven't had any problems at all.
