Im just about done with my BS in Computer Science from the university of north alabama. ( 4 more classes...)

Then I hope to get on somewhere in huntsville doing what ever I can, probably programming or what not to get some experience.... and work for my masters.

For my part time job I work at a bank and decide who gets their money

Actually you could make 50-60,000 base with additional 20,000 overtime or all of it tax free tax if you would go to Saudi or Iraq and stay for more than 13 months not coming back. If you set foot in US territory inside of 13 months you will lose all tax benefits. And trust me when you come back they will know!!!

Do you deliver to KENT, CT? I grew up there and there is a little Dodge dealer there, or at least there was. My dad, brother and one sister still live there. Wish I got home more often, so I could see them. Plus they don't get to see my son very often.

To everyone else, thanks, I'm often not sure of the reaction I'll get from people. I love my job and no matter what I get paied I'd still do it. I've met some of the nicest people as a result of my job, some of the worst as well, but that goes with out saying.

Anyone looking to get into this line of work and want some advise drop me a line.

Thanks a bunch,
Will-

I wouldn't mind getting into that line of work, but me with a gun in a situation where there is a hostage, or car chase, or whatever...would not be good. I know my adrenalin would be shoot now, ask later. This is the main reason I wasn't able to get too far into the air marshal process. I could see someone saying "this plane is mine"...Me: *bang*...what did you say?

depends on where you go, and they arent looking for civilian mechanics. they got military mechanics over here. they are the bus, truck, etc drivers.

talked to a few the other day. depends on where you go. where I am at they make 50k. If they do it in Iraw they would make 100k.

I work for a place called Tor Truck USA which is a warehouse that sells eaton, dana, spicer and meritor parts. We mainly deal with anything that has to do with rears and trannys for large construction equipment and tractor trailers. Paid 13 an hour. 40 hrs per week when not in college.

To live where me and brent do, a two bedroom apartment thats nice, not nasty, will run you 300-450 a month. A house thats pretty darn nice will run you 80-100k~ probably less.

secluded? what are you talking about? I live in a city of about 70,000 people. I can get to any auto parts store in the city, Wal-Mart, any number of nice restaurants within 5-10 min.

It must suck living somewhere where it takes 30 min to get 5 blocks over.
