i life guarded for the city of huntsville for almost 2 years in HS...9 bucks an hour almost to sit on my ***. fawk yeah it was great. other then that, bagging groceries, fast food, or retail is all you really got for options...unless you have already graduated HS then military is a very good way to go.

pizza delivery is fun. I only did it for like 3 months, and never did it in bad weather. I bet it sucks when it rains and snows, especially in a mustang

Pizza delivery makes your car smell like pizza all the time. :/

I work at a detail shop. See if you can find any cool young owners and ask if they need any help. Pays good and alot of the time they will have a shop and mechanical knowledge. Good to keep the install fees down. :yup:

Problem is, around here I know lots of people that I don't like to associate myself with work at fast food places. Mainly the kids that everyone finds annoying, scary, scummy, or just f-ed up work at them. Dunno, i'll eat there, just never work at one.

slow food is the best. work at a resturant. get hired on as a busser or dishwasher. bussers usually get tipped by the waitresses if they are good(like i was). the more you learn the higher you can go. i went from busser, to dishwasher(cause the 2 that used to wash went AWOL one day, i had to fill in) to host, to waiter. ive been at the same place for almost 4 years(come sept 05) but since i did different things it didnt feel like the same job.

and working in a place where people usually stay long terms, its like a dam family. theres so much drama between the women servers(im the only guy that works the floor) it gets very good sometimes. course the good showdowns only happen when im not there to let the testosterone equal out their attitudes.

that happens everywhere...i just quit my last job cause of drama that i didn't feel like dealing with...but girls will never learn that its just a job...who cares if so-in-so is dating that guy...it gets annoying with girls stabbing each other behind their backs.....girls need to chill (and i'm a girl so i should know lol)

Porter at a Dealership. You get to drive just about everything the dealer sells, but you also have to wash them an so on. Not sure what the pay is but i'd do it at your age.

I did carpentry work when I was your age, great experience, I can do anything with wood. Now I have a job at a bookmart for college, it's great, 20 percent off my books, and a job I can keep year round.

That's pretty much what I do now...it's just around 30 acres of land I keep freshly mown and manicured, kinda nice, outside all day...in the blistering humid heat of mississippi.

Definatley bussing is good, theres not responsiblity, and I work fri, sat, sun, and make about 300 tips are awesome, could be a server, but right now bussing money is just to good to risk being a bad server, so I second the bussing job.
